Jeff and Max’ client was sued after he lost control of his snow plow truck, crossed the center line and struck plaintiff’s vehicle during a winter ice event. Following the accident, plaintiff claimed a permanent brain injury and ongoing chronic neck and back issues. Plaintiff incurred in excess of $40,000 in medical treatment and continued to treat for concussion-like symptoms up to the time of trial. Plaintiff’s attorney asked the jury for an award of $465,000. The jury returned a verdict awarding plaintiff $20,000 in past medical expenses and $5,000 in past and future pain, suffering and disability for a favorable defense verdict.
