Jeff Nichols recently received a favorable verdict on behalf of a plaintiff in a recent Milwaukee County jury trial. Jeff’s client, a 78 year old single female, slipped and fell when coming out of her apartment complex resulting in a severe broken ankle. She had complained to the owner prior to the incident about the condition of the sidewalk but such complaints fell on deaf ears. The Milwaukee County jury found no negligence on the plaintiff and awarded Jeff’s client in excess of $500,000 in damages.
