Larry Drabot successfully defends case in Rock County trial

Larry Drabot won a favorable defense verdict in a Rock County trial.  It was alleged that Drabot’s client made a left turn in front of a motorcycle, yet the jury still apportioned 10% fault on the plaintiff.   Plaintiff’s damages included $172,000 in medical expenses and almost $77,000 in lost wages); plaintiff asked the jury for $2.68 million for injuries that included 2 surgeries) and an anticipated third surgery with a lifetime of on-going treatments.  The net verdict was $439,000, which was also substantially below the “courthouse steps” demand.
