Sam Hall and Zack Flood recently won summary judgment in a federal district court case in which the plaintiff alleged the defendants failed to protect him in violation of the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) and his constitutional rights. In granting the defendant’s motion for summary judgment, the court found no triable issues of fact and dismissed the plaintiff’s claims against the defendants in their entirety.
