Mitchell Dess

Biography

Attorney Mitchell Dess first joined Crivello, Nichols & Hall, S.C. in 2023 as a law clerk, gaining valuable insight into case strategy and client advocacy. During law school he was involved in several extracurricular activities including the mock trial team, negotiation competitions, as well as holding an executive board position as treasurer for the Federalist Society. He returned to the firm as an Associate in 2025 after earning his juris doctorate from Marquette University Law School. His practice focuses on insurance defense, civil litigation, and personal injury matters, with additional experience in product liability and municipal defense.

A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mitchell obtained his undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, where he was a proud member of the football team. Attorney Dess remains actively involved in his high school alma mater’s athletic programs, assisting with coaching, fundraising, and mentorship efforts. Mitchell is passionate about sports and the outdoors, often going on fishing trips, playing golf, and attending Wisconsin sporting events with friends and family.
